Kate is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned both her BSN and MSN from the University of Memphis, following three years of study at the University of Mississippi. She began her career as a registered nurse at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in delivering evidence-based, patient-focused care. She later served as a Nurse Practitioner at Humphrey’s Family Practice and OB/GYN Specialists in Memphis.

In 2008, Kate founded Solutions Medical Center with the belief that healthcare should go beyond symptom management to focus on prevention, root causes, and long-term wellness. Her vision was to establish a patient-centered practice dedicated to providing personalized, functional medicine care. Today, Solutions Medical Center continues to grow, helping patients achieve better health outcomes through a proactive and comprehensive approach to care.

 
 

Dakota Doss, BSN, MSN, NP-C

Dakota holds a Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from the University of South Alabama. She is a distinguished healthcare professional with a deep-seated passion in functional medicine, cultivated through personal insights gained from her family members’ battles with autoimmune diseases. This experience has shaped her commitment to integrating functional medicine and investigating root causes into both her clinical practice and personal health regimen, underpinned by a nontoxic organic approach to wellness.

With an extensive 7 year nursing career spanning critical care and interventional radiology, Dakota excels in complex, high-stakes medical environments. Her role emphasizes not only procedural excellence but also a dedication to fostering patient education, empowerment, and the creation of tailored, evidence-based treatment plans. Dakota’s commitment to service extends beyond domestic healthcare; her global contributions include medical missions in Zambia and Costa Rica, underscoring her dedication to health equity and global medical outreach.

Dr. John Rodney is a family medicine physician based in Memphis, Tennessee, with over 20 years of medical experience. He earned his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medicine in 2008. Dr. Rodney practices at two locations in Memphis and specializes in Family Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Addiction Medicine.
